Vi ricordo le iniziative per lo sciopero di venerdì 14 novembre:

•    partecipazione alla manifestazione di Roma, con trasporto in bus
organizzato dalla FLC CGIL (www.flccgil.lombardia.it);

•    presidio in piazza Duomo a Milano, dalle 10 alle 14.

La partecipazione alla manifestazione è di primaria importanza, vi chiediamo
un aiuto per una partecipazione organizzata anche all’iniziativa milanese.
Vorremmo organizzarci in  questo modo: presidio in ateneo, piazza Leonardo
(ore 8.30), in seguito ci si muove verso piazza del Duomo (ore 10.30) dove
si svolgeranno lezioni in piazza e azioni di sensibilizzazione (ad esempio
distribuzione di materiale informativo).

Si cercano volontari per le lezioni in piazza e per l’organizzazione.

L’argomento delle lezioni dovrebbe riguardare preferibilmente
l’organizzazione del sistema universitario, ma non si escludono argomenti di
carattere generale (tipo le lezioni in piazza svolte il 31 ottobre).

Scuole elementari, medie, università. E’ la Rete lo strumento di chi manifesta in difesa della scuola pubblica. E la parola d’ordine è “Futuro”. Il confronto con il resto del mondo.

Così si scopre che, per la scuola elementare, i due temi più sentiti sono quelli del maestro unico e del tempo pieno. Per quanto riguarda l’Università invece la novità viene dal fatto che a muoversi sono in primo luogo gli studenti delle facoltà scientifiche che usano un linguaggio nuovo, postideologico e concreto. La parola d’ordine è “Futuro”. Si punta a difendere e a promuovere la ricerca nel nostro paese. Scenari riporta voci, idee, punti di vista. Ma fa anche un viaggio al di fuori dei nostri confini raccontando quello che accade in Europa ( Irlanda e Germania) e in America Latina, in primo luogo Messico. In più grazie a Internet è possibile tornare sul programma del nuovo Presidente americano Barack Obama in materia di istruzione. In Italia tutti si sono detti d’accordo con lui. Vale la pena dunque risentire quanto da lui detto nei confronti preelettorali con McCain.

L’inaugurazione dell’anno accademico avrà luogo Lunedì 3 Novembre, presso la sede del POLIMI in Bovisa, via Durando 10, nell’Aula De Carli

Carlo De Carli fu tolta la docenza per aver apppoggiato la protesta degli studenti del ‘68 in qualità di Preside dell’allora facoltà di Architettura del Poli; la stessa condanna subirono tanti altri docenti, ma lui fu l’unico che non venne mai riabilitato. Gli altri infatti tornarono ad insegnare: lui si ritirò in un esilio volontario in una casa di campagna sulle rive del Garda dove morì pochi anni fa, nell’indifferenza più totale di tutti.

L’appuntamento è per le 9.00 nei pressi del bar “la rossa” per partecipare a una protesta pacifica e non violenta capace di comunicare all’interno e all’esterno dell’Ateneo il rifiuto per dei provvedimenti che invece di affrontare i problemi dell’Università ne acuiscono i mali.

E’ assolutamente bandita ogni forma di violenza e le forme per manifestare il dissenso dovranno essere esclusivamente simboliche: si è suggerito di indossare abiti scuri e per decorazione un logo con l’immagine di una arancia.
